GIRO ECLIPSE SPHERICAL MIPS

The Eclipse Spherical is a standout aero road helmet that brings our best technologies together in a light, compact form thats ideal for road and gravel racing. At the heart of the Eclipse Spherical are its 14 Wind TunnelTM vents. These vents pull air through the helmet to decrease aerodynamic drag and provide incredible cooling power that rivals most aggressively vented road helmets. Pair that with the sleek outer shell actively streamlines airflow to reduce drag across multiple wind angles and the Eclipse is the fastest road helmet Giro has made.

Inside the helmet, the ball-and-socket design of Spherical Technology is powered by the Mips brain protection system, which allows the helmets outer EPS foam liner to rotate around the inner foam liner during a crash to help redirect impact forces away from the brain. Progressive Layering of both the inner and outer liners help to offer more comprehensive protection, too. Further, the patented Roc Loc 5 Air fit system enhances stability and fit, and plush antimicrobial Ionic+TM padding helps absorb sweat and moisture while providing durable anti-microbial performance.
